Applying Process Orchestration in SOA Applications
This session will provide guidelines, best practices, and a methodology to design and design application leveraging Process Orchestration in the SOA initiatives. The implementation areas will apply to large enterprise applications with multiple dependencies. Parallels between different applications of BPM products in typical scenarios will be covered and the leading vendor offerings in the market including FileNet, Savvion, Oracle BPEL Process Manager, IBM WPS, BEA WLI, jBPM, BizTalk, and others will be examined. Multiple aspects of process-based design and development will be covered including - vendor evaluation, conducting an appropriate proof of concept, putting together the appropriate team, process design, development, and maintenance.
